Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I've been assisting with births for the last four years. I have experience with (un)medicated home and hospital births as well as cesarean deliveries. My goal is to provide families with an experience that increases their likelihood to seamlessly transition into their new life.

What led you to become a Doula?: Being a birth professional has always been a "top of the list" passion for me, since I was a child. Although I knew it was what I loved, I didn't invest in myself enough during my younger years to pursue doula work as a career. After receiving a Bachelors of Science in Psychology, I began to understand what life was really about. Not only am I educated but I'm great at what I do! My educational background and birth and postpartum experience created the perfect balance for me when I entered this field of work. Some things are undeniable and I could not longer put my passion aside. I was created for this work.
