Meet Your ProDoula
Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: From the time I was a young child, I have had a passion for helping others. I have been babysitting since I was old enough to remember. I also have been CPR/BLS Certified for the last 6 years. I have also completed two Labor Doula trainings, the more knowledge, the better right?!
What led you to become a Doula?: For a very long time, I have been completely intrigued with pregnancy and birth. This whole concept just amazes me. So, when I started college, I really wanted to become a midwife, however I was quit discouraged by the amount of schooling required and was not able to proceed. A while later, I found out about the incredible work of Doulas and I decided this was the perfect career for me! I originally trained with a company called DONA(2019) and got to start being a Doula! Now I have trained and certified with ProDoula and am excited to start the next phase of helping birthing people advocate for themselves and support them during their birthing journey.

I am told I have caring and empathetic. I am lighthearted, calming and reassuring.
