Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have been a mother for 15 years to 5 beautiful children. I delivered in both hospital and homebirth settings. I have always been a carer by nature,so becoming a doula was a calling I jumped into willingly and enthusiastically.
What led you to become a Doula?: My path was quite accidental. I was always interested in birth and had attended friend births as an observer in the past. It was not until a dear friend asked me to attend her birth as my doula that I considered it as anything but a very rare priviledge to witness. After that I was hooked and began my career serving women in this most wonderful profession.
What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:
People comment that I make them feel very comfortable and that they have known me for a long time. Clients will usually say I am a natural doula and nurturer ,and that “we couldn’t have done it without you”
