Meet Your ProDoula
Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I've had three interesting, but different birth experiences. In the hospital naturally, with a doctor, breech/emergency c-section, and naturally with a midwife. I have also attended a home/water birth.
What led you to become a Doula?: I grew up with an urge to provide care and support to people during new experiences. Throughout my pregnancies, and my growing knowledge, I was/am amazed at how Mother Nature takes its course.
What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:
Helena is a very strong determined person. She is giving of her time, always ready to listen when one is troubled and needs advice. Helena doesn’t waver in the face of fear, but chooses to deal with it head on, encourages others to do the same. She’s adventurous, loving, caring, compassionate, a go-getter.
