Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: Teaching and supporting women and families is my primary passion. I've over ten years working in education and been a certified doula since 2014. I am committed to helping my clients feel supported and confident, and helping them to achieve better birth and postpartum outcomes. I initially practiced as a labor doula in California, and have since been supporting women and families during the labor and postpartum period in Shanghai, China.
What led you to become a Doula?: During university I became passionate about women's rights, especially in birth. While studying nursing I knew my calling was to support people during labor to help them have confidence in themselves and feel more comfortable and safe to have a better birth. I love to help families have positive experience during their birth and to have support during the postpartum period.
