Meet Your ProDoula
Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have been a licensed massage therapist in the state of Oregon since 2002. I have worked in a variety of settings, helping all sorts of people. My passion for helping started before I can remember. It is my joy to learn, glean, walk with, show up for, and nurture people through whatever is happening in their world. Being a birth doula has added a layer of love in my soul.
What led you to become a Doula?: I have been interested in Doula work since before becoming a massage therapist. I wanted to know more about it but thought I needed to have kids before entering the birthing world. I am so happy to have been guided into this type of work at this stage in my life. I can’t tell you exactly why but I can say, I rarely question timing. The curiosity, learning and level of passion it fills is a beautiful experience for me and such a natural progression in my world.
