Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I think a desire to live in service to others and see people thrive and have a voice in the birth space and the postpartum space are all you need to become a doula !

What led you to become a Doula?: My own postpartum experiences are what propelled me onto the path of postpartum doula work. I profoundly felt the lack of postpartum preparation and support. What I prepared for was the baby , but little did I know, I was about to be reborn myself and yet had none of the tools to transition through this period. What I want to do for families is to share these tools and offer unbiased support during such a vulnerable time. When we honor postpartum we honor ourselves, our children and future generations.

What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:

I think most people would say that I’m easy going , down to earth and hopefully at least somewhat funny !
