Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have been a doula for the past three years. In that time, I have served over forty families during childbirth and the postpartum period. I have offered support to families both at home and at the hospital. I feel so fortunate to be a source of comfort and knowledge to all of my clients.

What led you to become a Doula?: I became interested in becoming a birth professional after witnessing first-hand the difference a doula makes for your pregnancy journey. After the experience of welcoming my second child with the support of a doula, I knew I was interested in learning more about about the profession. After attending my first birth, I knew I had found my calling! The satisfaction I feel after supporting a family through childbirth and continuing to hold their hand during the postpartum period is a gift I will treasure forever. Allowing people to feel safe and supported during such an uncertain time is the best job I could ask for!
