Meet Your ProDoula
Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have sat in with many families and helped them to have the most positive and beautiful experience possible during their labor and delivery. I also have shot all things maternal and family photography for many years now. I have had the privilege to do a couples shoot and then photograph their growing family in every beautiful addition.
What led you to become a Doula?: Birth is the most beautiful thing a human being can do, our bodies are a wonder and a marvel. I have always had a passion for this work, way back even before I knew what a doula was! I love to help parents find their true strength and capability in the prenatal, labor and delivery journey, and that is sometimes the best thing a doula gets to do.
What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:
That I was made for this work, that they will have me along their birth journey every single time in the future, that I am a “baby whisperer”, that I feel like a friend they have always known, and that I helped turn their hardest day into their most beautiful and favorite day.
