Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have always extremely passionate about birth and babies. My passion drives me to create the best experience for anyone who comes to me.
What led you to become a Doula?: I became a doula because I saw first hand how having support during pregnancy and labour helps create a positive birth experience. My wish is that every birthing person feels empowered and supported during birth. My best friend from college had a very difficult pregnancy because she was away from her home and family. I was her support person, learned so much about pregnancy and birth and realized that birth work was where I belong.
What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:
People say that I am passionate, caring, compassionate and empathetic. Many have told me my ability to stay calm and positive in any situation is my greatest strength.
