Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have over a decade of professional nanny experience, including several positions with young infants. I have worked to stay up to date on the latest in newborn care and have taken Foundational, Advanced, and Sleep Solutions: Birth to 6 months training through Newborn Care Solutions.
What led you to become a Doula?: I have always been passionate helping out families as they welcome a newborn into their family. The COVID pandemic spurred me to go ahead and make the leap to postpartum doula work because I saw the increased need for families to have support during the fourth trimester. I strive to come in and offer a calming presence and instill confidence in the family

I have been described as a responsible, caring and confident caregiver who is insightful and sensitive with the children in my care. Another family has said they appreciated my professionalism and that I helped them as first time parents with respectful suggestions about newborn care.
