Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have supported children and families in various roles for over fifteen years and I am very passionate about helping others.

What led you to become a Doula?: During my first year as a new mother, I experienced postpartum depression, however it was not diagnosed until later. I struggled and suffered in silence and this has been part of my drive to want to help other mothers with the transition into motherhood.

What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:

I am known for being compassionate and understanding, and willing to help others in any way that I can.  I am always willing to step in and lend a hand when I am interacting with mothers who have young babies, and I have often been told how grateful these women are that I offer help without thinking twice.
