Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have been serving families in different capacities for 10 years now. I spent most of my time in early childhood education as a preschool teacher and about 2 of those years teaching high school special needs. Through that work I continued to grow and further understand how to be the best possible caretaker and nurturer to people of all kinds.
What led you to become a Doula?: While searching for my own doula for my personal delivery I found myself extremely interested and continued researching until I realized that it was my calling to support women and their families in this way. As a doula I want to help curate a joyous experience as a part of a supportive network of people.
What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:
I have been told that I am a joy to be around, a strong woman, with an infectious laugh (that’s just because I snort).
