Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: As the oldest of 4 daughters, I truly grew into the caretaker role organically. I've learned to read people and care for people from an early age and have always valued relationships. Genuinely caring for the well being of others has carried me into my profession and has shaped the way I work with my clients and families today.

What led you to become a Doula?: I strongly believe knowing that there is someone there to support your ideas and parenting style sets your family up for parenting success, whether this is your 1st or 4th baby! I also believe that there is always a way to grow personally and professionally and commit myself to continuous learning opportunities regularly.

What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:

Nakita is an absolute dream to work with and I can’t thank her enough for the experience. She assisted me with my first placenta encapsulation almost 2 years ago and again recently. We were surprised to hear that we were expecting twins and I knew we were going to need help at home. As I was searching for a night nurse I stumbled upon Postpartum Doulas and instantly decided this was the best route for our family. Nakita was everything we could ever ask for. From 3:00 AM nursing struggles to helping with my 2 year old as he adjusted, she has helped with meals, laundry, and even just lifted us up in times of doubt.
