Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I'm a mother of two grown children. My daughter was born via emergency C-section, three years later my son was born via VBAC. I have many years of caring for infants and children - for friends, family and a daycare.
What led you to become a Doula?: I love babies and helping people. I supported a friend through her pregnancy and the birth. That beautiful experience sparked an interest and passion to support other women and their families. Life with a newborn has its challenges. Not everyone has someone to help them at home after the birth. I was fortunate to have my mom's help when my babies were born. I want to be able to provide that same loving support.
