Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: Hi! My name is Sabrina & I have been a Doula since 2020 helping new mothers and those who have given birth more than once either through vaginal delivery medicated, unmediated, or cesarean. I have expertise working with a variety of clientele. I have a strong desire to help mothers and their families through the delivery process by being there physically, and emotionally and providing evidence-based information for them, and also helping them step into the postpartum phase with confidence.
What led you to become a Doula?: When I became a mother, I came to the realization of how much I was capable of. I could grow a baby, give birth to a baby, and nourish a baby with my own body. I had an infinite capacity for love. I want to be able to help new moms feel that same empowerment I felt. Help them step into this new chapter of their lives with confidence and resilience. Witnessing a woman giving birth in all her strength and power. Seeing her demonstrate, courage, sacrifice, faith vulnerability, and most importantly love in this single act. It is a privilege to be invited to witness and support a woman on this journey.
