Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: As I continue to work as a Crisis Social Worker for my community behavioral health and addictions agency, I believe my experience enhances my ability to genuinely empower women and families during this time in their life where they are welcoming changes that are simultaneously amazing and hard.
What led you to become a Doula?: My polar opposite birth experiences with my two sons, working with many friends that are pregnant and breastfeeding, and my own journey working through emotions that come throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum time.
