Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I am very eager to start this as a new career path, there is nothing more exciting than finding your passion in life! I took a child development class in high school and have enjoyed serving families as a nanny over the last 5 years. I am an easy going people person and enjoy helping people and supporting them during any time of need.
What led you to become a Doula?: I have always had a passion about birth and babies and feel women should receive the full amount of support needed in order to have the best and most memorable experience and to feel heard throughout their labor. I have a very compassionate heart and love encouraging people and feel I can take that into a birth setting and provide amazing support to mothers.
What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:
I am often told that I am a very loyal, loving and passionate person with an honest heart. It only takes a few minutes for someone to see how I care for children and say i’m a natural. My friends tell me I have amazing work ethic and my mom says that when I love something I love it with all I’ve got.
