Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I was studying to become a nurse midwife in college, and have a lot of beneficial knowledge from that. I have also assisted both of my sisters and a few friends in their perinatal care. I have written many papers throughout college, even before studying birth work as a major, on breastfeeding and its benefits.

What led you to become a Doula?: I nannied for a doula for a few years before really getting turned onto the work of a doula. Birth work itself has been a long held passion of mine, and an interest of focused study throughout my teenage years, all through college and has followed me into adulthood. Now, I aim to make this a career.
