Meet Your ProDoula
Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have been interested in birth work for as long as I can remember and involved in birth work for twelve years. I've done a lot of self study and taken workshops on childbirth. I also am a mother of four wonderful children myself as well as being trained by ProDoula; but most importantly I am passionate about labor and birth!
What led you to become a Doula?: Being passionate about birth for as long as I can remember and wanting to help others have a positive birth experience led me to birth-work. It's my nature to be caring and nurturing to people so being a doula is just a natural fit for me.
What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:
People say I have a very calming and reassuring presence. At one birth the father looked at me and said, “You’re so gentle”.
