Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I started researching natural birth in 2015 when preparing to start our family. I learned as much as possible and eventually became the go-to person for all things pregnancy and birth for family and friends. I made the leap to officially become a doula in 2020 and I could not be more grateful! I love supporting families through this incredible time.
What led you to become a Doula?: After a traumatic experience with my first birth, I knew I needed help. We didn't have a doula present and I know that having that calm, reassuring, educated presence would have made all the difference. My second birth was completely different. I felt supported, loved, encouraged and empowered. I strive to make every birthing person I work with, feel the same. My goal is to support every family I work with to have the most positive birth experience possible.
