Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: Previous certification in birth-three years (with NAEYC), four children, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-one years’ experience working with military families.
What led you to become a Doula?: I have worked with infants, children, and families for over 25 years. When my daughter-in-law became a birth doula, she encouraged me to become a postpartum doula.
What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:
I have been called “Baby Whisperer” as well as being told I’m very patient and tolerant.
