Meet Your ProDoula
Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have always had a passion for babies/children! My entire work career has been centered around children & families. I have worked at different Preschools, operated & owned an in home daycare, was a Foster parent and worked with CPS both as a case manager & supervisor.
What led you to become a Doula?: I am the eldest of nine children and very family oriented. Being around children has always been a joy for me. I believe that the birthing experience can be a positive, beautiful event that every family should cherish. I've been wanting to start my doula career for a few year now, but ignored my calling. I finally decided to step out on Faith to begin supporting families as a full-time job!
What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:
People usually describe me as a fun, loving, positive, patient, good energy person. I like to find the positive in any situation, turning the negative into positive.
