Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I was raised by two medical professionals who taught me that from a very young age that you can hold out a helping hand to anyone and those who need it will be placed in your path. I got certified as a certified nurse assistant right out of high school and worked as an in home CNA. Helping others has always been a huge priority in my life. I am a mother of four and they are my pride and joys. I have learned so much from them as they continue to grow and each one of my pregnancies. Which has benefited me a great deal to be very successful as a birth professional.

What led you to become a Doula?: As long as I can remember I have been so fascinated with the birth process as a whole. When I was given the opportunity to support my sister through the deliveries of her three children is what truly led me to the love and passion of supporting and educating woman through the birth process.

What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:

Others would say I am a great listener, very thoughtful, dedicated and a hard working individual. Also that I am full of energy and active. Along with me being a great mother and always putting others above myself.
