Meet Your ProDoula
Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have served many clients as a certified birth doula and a few clients with postpartum care. I have been a yoga teacher for many years and know how to help with alignment and pain. I am forever learning, I have taken several trainings to further my knowledge in both yoga and birth, postpartum and first year with an infant. Evidenced based birth professional member, babywearing, breastfeeding, spinning babies, are just a few trainings or organizations I belong to.
What led you to become a Doula?: I had a close friend that had an unplanned cesarean section birth. I watched as she educated and advocated for herself, she did everything to fight for that right to try for a VBAC. I learned right along with her, attending Bradley birth classes and ICAN meetings, that I can help to improve birth outcomes and help support new families. The rest as they say is history.

I have been told I have good listening skills, I am supportive, intuitive, thoughtful, caring and hilarious.
