Once You Register, You Must:

• Be a current member of ProDoula
• Read the ProDoula Postpartum & Infant Care Doula Training Manual (included in fee and mailed to you)
• Complete the DISC: A Personality Assessment Tool online learning course for improved communication between you and your clients (included in fee and link is emailed to you)
• Complete the “pre-test” in your training manual
• Required reading: 29 page Cultural Competence Resource Vol.1
• Attend the 3 hour Postpartum & Infant Care Doula Cross Certification Training via Zoom
  • Topics include:
    • Review of DISC
    • Non-judgmental support
    • Active Listening
    • Parenting philosophies
    • Infant feeding
    • Sleep and the newborn
    • PMADS (Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders)
    • Next steps

• Complete your comprehensive online certification exam
  • Score 85% or greater on each of 8 modules
  • Upload a copy of your current CPR Certification

Once you have registered your training manual will be mailed to you and you will receive the links for your online DISC: A Personality Assessment Tool course and Cultural Competence Resource Vol.1
